Adin Masencamp is a fierce competitor with his sights firmly set on reaching the pinnacle of competitive surfing. After having won the WSL Africa Junior Men’s title in 2017, he quickly backed that up by winning the WSL Africa QS Men’s title in 2018 stamping his dominance on his home continent.
2019 saw a huge push from Adin to try and reach the main stage of surfing with a string of good results including taking the victory at the VW SA Open of Surfing, a 5th place at the Billabong Pro Ericeira Portugal QS10 000 as well as earning a spot into the Pipeline Invitational in Hawaii later that season.
Having finished the year ranked 38th on the Qualifying Series and falling agonisingly close to reaching his goal of qualifying for the Championship Tour, the competitive fire inside of him has been stoked and his will to succeed burns stronger.
